Founded in 1930, St. George's School is a world-class boys' school offering a day program to boys in Grade 1 to 12 and a boarding program to students in Grades 6 to 12. While fostering tolerance of all faiths and races, St. George's has achieved national and international prominence in many academic, artistic, and athletic competitions. The School has maintained a standing of first place in the Fraser Institute provincial rankings for the past seven years and has been the number one athletic school in the Province of British Columbia for the last four years. St. George's is a university preparatory school that occupies two campuses, one with a heritage building that serves the Junior School (Grades 1 to 7) and one with a modern facility that houses the Senior School (Grades 8 to 12) and the Western Canada Indoor rowing championships. Total enrolment is roughly 1150, of which 120 are boarding students from over 15 countries worldwide.
