RENTAL RATES FOR 2010
2010 rental rates are valid from December 1, 2009 through December 1, 2010

Event Rental Rates:

Note: Sundays that fall on a long weekend will be booked at the Friday rate. Rentals booked on statutory holidays will be booked at the Sunday rate.

As of December 1, 2009, The UBC Boathouse will be doing all the set up and take down of all facility products for each event at an additional charge of $500 which will be added to every booking. This includes one full set up and one full take down of all tables and chairs as well as removal of garbage and recycling.

Extra hours for an eight hour booking will be billed at $150.

Event Rental Rates are based on standard 5-hour or 8-hour time blocks. 8-hour blocks start at 7am or 4pm; 5-hour blocks start at 9am or 4pm. At times, some modification of starting times is possible. In all cases, excess charges will apply, as stated in the contract, if the premises are not vacated on time.   

Extra hours for a five hour booking Mon-Thurs will be billed at:     

_ 1st hour      $150  

+ 2nd hour     $200

+ 3rd hour      $225   

Extra hours for a five hour booking Fri/Sun will be billed at:           

_ 1st hour        $200  

+ 2nd hour       $300                                                                                                              

+ 3rd hour        $375  

Extra hours for a five hour booking Saturday will be billed at:        

_ 1st hour       $225      

+ 2nd hour      $350                                                                                                                 

+ 3rd hour       $400   

Rehearsal hours for a wedding will be available: 

Mon-Thurs     8am-12noon @ $150 for a maximum of 2 hours 
Mon-Thurs    12noon-5pm @ $150 for each hour (maximum of 2 hrs)  
(A rehearsal time may only be booked up to two weeks in advance of your wedding date, subject to availability.) 

Business Meeting Rental Rates:

Minimum Rental charge of 2 hours

Defined as use of the facility where no equipment other than audio/visual and tables and chairs are used, and where the only food served is coffee/tea and pastries. An extra charge of $160 will apply for any food other than coffee/tea and pastries being brought in or served. The board room (seating capacity of 8) can be added onto business meetings for an additional $50 per hour.

The Boathouse is not available for Business Meeting rentals on statutory holidays.

Every hour over 7 hours will be booked as follows:

1st hr  - $150
2nd hr  - $200

Any meeting running for more than 10 hours will be billed at event rates.
